Beth and Dave met in 2003 through mutual friends in Athens, Georgia while they were both attending the University of Georgia. The two didn't start dating until the beginning of 2004 after travelling to Florida together for Christmas. The following year Dave worked while Beth finished her degree. Soon they were off to Philadelphia, Pennsylvnia where Beth began medical school. After a year off looking for work in the big city, David finally found a job at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, DC. The couple moved there in 2006, and Beth transferred to Howard University. In December of 2006, Beth and Dave got married in a small ceremony in the basement of a water-damaged law office in Arlington, Virginia. After a honeymoon in Virginia and many months of marital bliss, Beth and Dave decided to have a wedding proper in Beth's hometown, Lakeland, Florida. They picked the historic Polk Theater. The couple invited all their friends and family. On October 27, 2007, the couple, with the help of their parents, had what they like to think was the best wedding ever. Below are pictures and videos memorializing that day.

This is a video Dave made to share the first wedding and honeymoon with friends and family. Excuse the copyright infringement and the low quality, but enjoy the ingenious content.

This is the introduction played on the movie screen before the beautiful bride walked down the aisle. Dave made it to complement the overall movie theme of the wedding.

After the wedding, the newishweds headed off to spain. They travelled all over Adalucia, from Tarifa where the wind drove them mad to Ronda where the view made them dizzy. The couple drove a Seat (see-aht) until miring on a punto muerte. After, they took buses and trains through Savilla to Madrid. They even had apes assault them for a granola bar.
